By default, all files in a project are automatically refreshed as a batch every 8 minutes. To change the default setting, choose Preferences... from the Edit menu. The XML Console Preferences dialog box appears with a check box for this purpose in the upper panel. Click to enable (check) the check box and, in the adjacent text box, specify a refresh interval in minutes (must be a positive number).
The current refresh interval is indicated at the bottom right of the Status bar in XML Console's main window.
Clicking the Refresh icon (see Figure A) on the File Operations toolbar will batch-validate all project files.
